Just start from 1:22 and watch this girl dance. I cannot help myself from tearing up EVERY SINGLE TIME. This feeling is what I live for! Truly, it is. Even to just watch it through my little computer screen is enough. I don’t have to dance this to know exactly how that feels or how the audience feels. Neither does anyone else- even if you are not a dancer. The feeling you get when you watch this is pure humanity. Everyone has it. Everyone that experiences a rare moment like this can tap into this feeling in themselves and collectively think “Yeah, I hear you. I understand.” It is a feeling that at the same time makes us totally aware of how small, dumb, normal we are AND how much greatness we can taste on those special occasions, how high our souls really reach. We experience this in the form of a dance, a song, a speech, a smile from a stranger, and we are reminded how beautiful our substance is. And that’s why I love this so so so very much.
